Blah

So I went to bed at 4:00 AM.
Fully knowing I had church to attend this morning, and that I needed to be awake at 9:00 AM.
Smart, huh?
Yeah... I was extremely exhausted this morning.
I had two cans of Coke, and that just barely kept me awake.
Our lesson today was on Joshua 1:9.
For those of you who do not have a bible handy, this is the verse:

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Shawn got to do the lesson today, because Brother Dickie is on vacation.

Flash forward to getting home at around 2:00 PM.
I was making macaroni and cheese with corn while Azrael was taking a nap.
Mom and Dad had taken Nicholas to trade in his gamecube, leaving me home alone with Azrael.
(Reminding me that nobody besides people at my church and Kara know that we now have a 2005 Dodge Caravan)
So, anyway, I went to drain the noodles, and I poured boiling water over my hand on accident.
(Which, for the record, HURTS)
And the first person I think to call is Kara.
Who laughed at me, while I was freaking out and crying, because she thought I was laughing.
She recommended water, but could not think of any other remedies.
So I called my mom, who recommended the burn salve we have in a small [impossible to open] tin thingy.
So I am on the phone with Kara, trying to open that one handed, and finally had to resort to the fingernail clippers to open it.
The following, I would NOT recommend using on burns:

Butter (holds in heat)
Ice (feels way too cold on a burn unless in a baggie under a towel)
* Campo Phenique (BURNS almost worse than putting alcohol on an open gash)

They say honey is a good remedy.
I wouldn't have had this problem if I had an aloe vera plant.

Well, I have Ashe on the phone now, so I will go.
