I saw that on a facebook page today.
We had a women's breakfast at church this morning, and Melinda was talking about how we all need to pray more, and how we should make our church be called the house of prayer. So I thought the above quote when I read it, was appropriate. She talked about how if you didn't know how to pray, or didn't know what to say, just ask God to reach out His hand. I love how into prayer she is, and how she is always smiling, and so kind to everybody. I love how she lives for Christ. I think of everybody I know, she is who I would consider my role model/person that inspires me. She is an amazing mother, one of the only people I know who is still married to the first person they ever married that is also still so in love with her husband, and such a beautiful woman. When she sang this song this morning, I had only heard it once. I didn't know the lyrics, so I looked them up and posted them below. Tonight when I say my prayers, I will ask God to bless Melinda with many more happy years with her husband and family and as a leader in our church, and I will ask God to help my friend's mother with the food issue. I don't think she will ask anybody for help herself, so I will do it for her. God bless you all that are reading this with an amazing night, and remember to PRAY. Thank God for your food when you make your dinner tonight, because not everybody can afford to eat more than one meal a day. Thank God for your home, because not everybody has one. Thank God for your health, because I have heard so many stories of people with cancer, or pending surgeries lately. Thank God for your family, because while everybody has problems, some people's are much worse than your own. Thank God for your friends, because there are many people who are alone and wish they had somebody to talk to. Thank God for our troops, because they give us our freedom. And thank God for your church, because not everybody has one to go to.
That's all I have to say on that.

1. What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer. 2. Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer. 3. Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge; take it to the Lord in prayer. Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer! In his arms he'll take and shield thee; thou wilt find a solace there.
