Hospital visit and Pregnancy Scare:
Last Friday, my stomach started getting real sharp pain. I didn't say anything because mom ALWAYS says it's gas and it's because I am overweight. We got to the emergency room and were the first ones in. My nurses and doctor were all fantastic. I had appendicitis, but while I was waiting to be told that, Sam (a nurse) came and asked me when the last time I had sex was (middle of February). My pee test turned up a positive pregnancy. Then AN HOUR later (lol) I get told my blood test pulled a negative test, and I had a CAT scan. I went to the hospital at 8 AM. I found out I had appendicitis at 12 PM (After Sam gave me some fantastic pain medicine). At 1 PM, they got me prepped for that 3 incision surgery to remove my appendix. I was in recovery by 2:30, I think. I couldn't breathe on my back after the anesthesia, though, so I had a mild panic attack. I was awake long enough to see my parents, brother, and beautiful little girl. Then I passed out. I spent 24 hours on a liquid diet (not fun when they keep showing food on tv). I slept until about 7 PM, but between cat naps, Ashley Howard brought her man up and they stayed a few minutes. And today, Pastor Dickey came to pray over me :) I only had to stay 24 hours after my surgery, and I only had to ask for pain medicine once. But I'm super sore now. They prescribed me hydrocodone and phenagren (mmm yummy lol). I can't lift anything over 10 pounds (bummer for when I want to hold my kid), and I have a hard time moving around. I'm home now, and have had mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken and noodles, peanut butter crackers, and a pretzel from McDonald's. I have taken one dose of medicine and been sleeping most of the time I have been home. I got my daughter to sleep at midnight, and have only had two accidents with her (she smacked me twice on accident).

Gifts with Katie:
I took Azrael a week and a half ago to Katie's to exchange gifts. We gave Katie reese's and a burned copy of Ewoks: Battle for Endor. She gave me candy canes, popcorn, chocolate, socks, and burnable dvds. She gave Azrael a new outift and some candy canes.
Cookies:
I made 22 dozen cookies (11 dozen a piece) for a retirement home and a nursing home. I made Sand Tarts, Diabetic cookies, Shrewberry cookies and Snowballs. This was the night before my surgery, and it was all in between stomach pain. I had fun making them, but they took forever. And I had wanted to deliver them so bad myself, but I had to have mom deliver them since I was in the hospital.
I had to reschedule Azrael's Christmas photos, too. Now they are Monday at 11. She will be wearing the beautiful dress that Dawn Burdick bought her. I will have photos up soon.
